A member of the Florida Bar since 1995, Walter practiced as a civil litigator in federal and state courts in the U.S. for five years before moving to Brazil in August 2000 to work for a top-tier IP boutique. After becoming a member of the Brazilian Bar (Rio de Janeiro) in 2005, he co-founded Pinheiro Palmer Advogados with his wife Cristina.
